Formula E Notebook has entered its second era as the world’s most informative (and free!) sporting, technical, political digest digital resource on the all-electric world championship.
A complete refresh of the site and brand has been undertaken in recent weeks to offer a smoother and more visually attractive experience for its growing community of consumers.
The content will continue to focus on the inner workings of the paddock with original news and quotes being excavated by our team of journalists and industry specialists. The quality of information direct from paddock to reader is unrivalled in Formula E.
The ultra-popular pre and post event Notebooks will continue, as will the interviews and insights from the main players up and down the pit-lane.
With unparalleled analysis, FEN will remain the benchmark for originality, authenticity and awareness in what really goes on behind the scenes of the world’s biggest growing motorsport. Our aim is to informally inform our readers at every race, and in-between the action too.
FEN is also growing in commercial and marketing fields with a new emphasis on telling the stories of some of the believers of Formula E from championship, team, driver and partner perspectives.

FEN’s social media content and outreach will be enhanced over 2026 after a strong start since its unveiling in 2024. Previous highlights have included a 100k viewership of first Youtube upload and a 277k view highlight on a post Sao Paulo EPrix tweet in December 2025.
A range of vibrant merchandise will also be launched and sold in 2026, while a host of other FEN services, including sponsor activation, event hosting, industry reports and insight services and independent content creation will be made available via the FEN team.
FEN continues to be grateful to and delighted to work with our founding FEN partners AVL Racetech and RaceOn GmbH, as well as recently confirmed partner Prova PR. The FEN network continues to grow with suppliers SuperHuman, Experience Innovation and FENZ with Gravel Trap Graphics, Aenso and 349 Design part of the wider FEN network.

The FEN team will continue to consist of experienced and respected media and motorsport industry specialists Sam Smith (founder) and Andy Stobart (commercial development manager), as well as contributors Georgia Williams (Europe), Stewart Bell (Asia/Australasia) and Alice Holloway (co-founder/technical).
But you don’t have to listen to the creators banging on about how good FEN is. Here is what some respected authorities from the FE paddock:
What the experts say…….
“They’re always first, always reliable, and you can trust what you read – professional, well-written, well- documented, to the point. Definitely a useful source of information about the sport.” – Tommaso Volpe, Nissan Formula E Team Principal
“Keeping abreast of what is going on in the Formula E paddock and its wider areas is vital for being part of an emerging and fast-paced world championship. I find FEN’s digest format simple to consume and very functional to get interesting news and the latest happenings around the series.” – Jim Wright, Motorsport industry Executive (formerly Mahindra and Andretti commercial officer)
