British F3 driver Callum Voisin will take part in the Rookie Test at Berlin Tempelhof later this month with the CUPRA KIRO team. He will join the already announced Bianca Bustamante.
Voisin won the highly competitive GB3 Championship in only his second season of single-seater competition in 2023 before taking part in his first FIA F3 season last year when he finished 12th after taking a maiden win at Spa with Rodin Motorsport.
The 19 year old sits ninth in the Formula 3 Drivers’ Standings this season after taking a pair of eighth place finishes in the series’ most recent race weekend in Austria, while earlier this year he claimed a second place in Bahrain.
“I’m thrilled to be joining CUPRA KIRO for the Berlin Rookie Test and to get my first experience of Formula E,” said Voisin.

“The team has had an incredible growth trajectory this season, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with them in a professional environment. I’ve been following Formula E for a long time, and I’m really looking forward to learning everything I can, both in the car, and from Dan [Ticktum] and David [Beckmann]. The GEN3 Evo will be an exciting challenge, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Formula E’s most recent winners ran Mikkel Jensen earlier this year at Jeddah in the extra free practice session, and the Dane also worked with the team as a reserve at Homestead in April. But the Peugeot WEC driver is unable to run again due to commitments at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, which is held the day before the rookie test.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Callum to CUPRA KIRO for Formula E’s upcoming Rookie Test in Berlin,” commented team principal, Alex Hui.
“His rapid rise through the ranks of single-seater racing has been exciting to watch and speaks volumes about his natural talent and work ethic.
“From his GB3 title win to some standout performances in Formula 3, Callum has a rare blend of speed, intelligence, and composure at the wheel – traits which make him one of the most promising young British drivers in motorsport today. Formula E presents a unique technical and strategic challenge, and we’re looking forward to seeing how Callum approaches this opportunity.
“The Rookie Test is a vital platform for identifying future talent, and supporting the next generation is central to our long-term vision.”
